A leading early-stage venture capital platform is looking to add an Investment Associate to its team located in San Francisco or New York. The firm partners with ambitious founders across software, AI, fintech, enterprise infrastructure, consumer, and emerging technology sectors, investing from Seed through growth stage opportunities.
The team is seeking a highly driven, intellectually curious, and entrepreneurial individual who is excited about identifying and supporting the next generation of category-defining founders. This role offers significant exposure across investing, founder support, sourcing, and strategic initiatives within a fast-paced venture environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior investors across all stages of the investment lifecycle, from Seed investments to later-stage SPV opportunities
- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities across the technology ecosystem
- Support portfolio companies through strategic projects, introductions, and operational initiatives
- Participate in customer and enterprise outreach efforts to help portfolio companies accelerate growth
- Assist with diligence, market research, competitive analysis, and investment materials
- Help manage relationships with founders, operators, and institutional investment partners
- Contribute to internal organization, sourcing strategies, and broader firm-building initiatives
Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a high-growth technology startup
- Strong interest in technology investing and startup ecosystems
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background preferred
