We are working with a newly formed elite private equity firm investing in lower middle-market technology-enabled and industrial businesses.
The team is highly hands-on, with deep involvement across the full investment lifecycle from sourcing through execution and portfolio value creation.
They're now seeking an Associate to join their investment team. The role will focus on financial modeling, M&A execution support, diligence coordination, and direct interaction with management teams and advisors.
Key requirements:
- 1–3 years of investment banking experience from a top-tier advisory platform (leading middle-market, tech-focused firms, elite boutiques, or bulge bracket institutions)
- M&A-focused experience with exposure to at least 1–2 completed transactions
- Strong Excel-based financial modeling skills (LBOs, three-statement builds, scenario analysis)
- Ability to work through complex transaction processes with rigor and strong attention to detail
- Clear thinking and structured communication skills
- Ability to independently pressure-test assumptions
