A leading healthcare-focused private equity firm is looking to add a Private Equity Associate to its investment team in San Francisco.
The firm has built a strong track record investing in middle-market healthcare businesses and is seeking an Associate to support all aspects of the investment process. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team with significant exposure to live transactions, portfolio company initiatives, and senior investment professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new investment opportunities across a range of healthcare subsectors.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memoranda.
- Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence.
- Assist with transaction execution, including coordinating with management teams, lenders, and external advisors.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support strategic value creation initiatives.
- Perform industry and market research to identify emerging investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 1–4 years of experience in investment banking or private equity with strong transaction experience.
- Healthcare transaction experience is preferred, but outstanding generalist candidates will also be considered.
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced investment environment.
- Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record.
