Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at a leading investment bank
- Prior experience within a top-tier M&A, industry coverage, or financial sponsors group preferred
- Strong technical skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis
- Demonstrated experience building detailed Excel models and preparing executive-level presentations
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating independent ownership of projects
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with strong academic performance
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through detailed financial analysis, industry research, and competitive landscape assessments
- Build and analyze comprehensive financial models, including leveraged buyout (LBO), valuation, operating, and sensitivity analyses
- Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, company performance reviews, and industry assessments
- Prepare investment committee presentations, deal materials, and internal investment memos
- Support transaction execution processes, including coordinating with advisors, reviewing diligence materials, and analyzing deal structures
- Perform market research to identify investment themes, trends, and potential acquisition opportunities
- Monitor portfolio company performance and assist with ongoing strategic initiatives
- Partner with senior investment professionals throughout the sourcing, evaluation, and execution process
- Develop investment theses and provide actionable insights to support investment decisions
