The Opportunity
We are seeking an Associate to join the New York M&A team, supporting a wide range of buy-side and sell-side mandates across multiple industries. This role provides a rare opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to complex transactions and to contribute directly to deal execution and client engagements. Working closely with senior bankers, you will be involved across the transaction lifecycle, from origination and valuation to negotiation and closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end M&A transaction processes, including target screening, financial modelling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and execution.
- Conduct market analysis, sector research, and competitive assessments to identify opportunities and trends.
- Prepare high-quality pitch materials, information memoranda, and financial models for internal and client review.
- Engage with clients, management teams, and market participants to support relationship-building and deal origination.
- Contribute to internal strategic initiatives, thought leadership, and sector knowledge development.
What We're Looking For
- 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, corporate finance, transaction services, or top-tier consulting.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex datasets.
- Intellectual curiosity, proactivity, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships across stakeholders.
- Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
