Junson has been investing in real estate since 2013 across various real estate asset classes, including Hotels, Multifamily, Student Housing, Offices, and other Net Lease assets in both the U.S. and Europe.
Description of Position – Investment and Asset Manager
As an integral member of the growing investment team, the IAM Manager will be responsible for providing financial analysis, modeling and underwriting support across the acquisition, asset management and disposition lifecycle for a portfolio of experiential real estate in the U.S. and Europe. More specifically, these responsibilities will include:
· Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions, life-cycle cash flows, value-add projects, and dispositions for a variety of asset classes including but not limited to: Hotels, Student Housing/Multi-Family, and Net Lease assets;
· Responsible for day-to-day asset management oversight for a portfolio by closely monitoring performance and communicating with property operators to execute business plans and capitalize on opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings;
· Perform underwriting and due diligence on prospective investments, including market and comparable research, revenue and expense assumptions, capital structure analysis, and calculation of return metrics (IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash yield);
· Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and other materials for leadership;
· Support capital markets activities, including coordinating with debt and equity capital providers, reviewing loan documents and term sheets, and assisting in the structuring of financing;
· Support the due diligence process for acquisitions and dispositions, coordinating with legal, tax, and third-party consultants;
· Conduct market research to identify new investment opportunities and monitor macroeconomic and sector trends relevant to the portfolio; and
· Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to execute large-scale renovations that enhance asset values, and prepare reporting materials for executive leadership on portfolio and asset performance.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, or a related field;
· Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office;
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field;
· Currently reside in New York precinct area
