We’re working on an exclusive search with a high-performing, long-oriented investment manager based in Boston that is looking to add an Equity Analyst to its team.
The firm runs a concentrated, fundamentally driven strategy focused on long-term ownership of a small number of high-conviction investments across industrials, utilities, infrastructure, energy, and broader energy transition themes. The approach is deeply research-intensive, with a focus on identifying durable businesses and secular growth opportunities over a multi-year investment horizon.
This is a true investing seat with direct exposure to the Portfolio Manager and meaningful involvement across the full investment process.
The team is known for operating with a flat structure and intentionally small headcount, offering substantial responsibility and visibility from day one and they're open to candidates coming from both public and private investing backgrounds, including hedge funds, long-only asset managers, private equity, or investment banking, provided there is a genuine interest in transitioning into a long-term public markets investing role.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of relevant experience across hedge funds, long-only asset management, private equity, or investment banking
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and fundamental research skillset
• Demonstrated interest in public markets investing and long-term fundamental investing strategies
• Interest in industrials, utilities, infrastructure, energy, and broader energy transition sectors
• Ability to conduct deep-dive company and industry research independently
