Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious intern to support our deal origination efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in private equity, M&A, and investment analysis who wants hands-on experience building a live deal pipeline.
You will work directly with the founder and be involved in identifying, researching, and qualifying potential acquisition targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Source potential acquisition targets across targeted industries
- Conduct company research using public data, websites, and databases
- Identify key decision-makers (owners, CEOs) and gather contact information
- Analyze businesses for quality, growth potential, and likelihood of sale
- Support development of deal pipelines and tracking systems (Airtable, CRM tools)
- Assist in preparing investment summaries and internal memos
- Monitor market signals such as hiring trends, news, and ownership changes

Qualifications

- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets/Excel (Airtable or CRM experience is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Background in finance, business, economics, or related field
- Familiarity with private equity, investment banking, or deal sourcing
- Experience with data tools, scraping tools, or AI platforms
Compensation & Structure
- Internship (part-time or full-time)
- Performance-based incentives may be available
- High performers may be considered for full-time opportunities

- Remote (U.S.-based preferred but not required)
