Overview:
A rapidly growing private credit firm in the DMV area is looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join their Real Estate and Asset-Based Lending team focusing on healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior professional looking to build a long-term career within private credit, gaining hands-on exposure to portfolio management, borrow reporting, and structured lending across healthcare-related assets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of healthcare-focused real estate term loans and asset-based revolving credit facilities.
- Review borrower financial statements, borrowing base certificates, and collateral reports to ensure compliance with covenants and credit requirements.
- Process funding requests, verify borrowing base calculations, and assist with cash posting and loan administration activities.
- Assist with ongoing credit analysis, internal reporting, and support underwriting for amendments, renewals, and new transactions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economic, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in direct lending, commercial banking, or private credit.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
