Key Responsibilities
- Complete detailed financial statement and tax return analysis for commercial and industrial, commercial real estate, agricultural, and consumer credit requests.
- Prepare comprehensive written credit memos and risk rating recommendations.
- Support lenders in structuring loans in compliance with bank policy, FDIC guidelines, and Missouri banking regulations.
- Monitor the existing commercial loan portfolio, including annual reviews, covenant tracking, and early identification of credit deterioration.
- Assist in concentration analysis, stress testing, and other regulatory reporting needs.
- Participate in loan committee discussions and help maintain strong credit administration practices.
- Manage the credit department and act as a mentor and resource to junior analysts.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 10+ years of commercial credit or lending experience.
- Strong financial analysis and cash flow modeling skills.
- Knowledge of FDIC regulations and community banking credit expectations.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and underwriting software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a small to midsize community bank.
- Knowledge of the St. Louis metro commercial market.
- Formal credit training program completion.
